Apex Driving Academy was founded by Stuart after seeing first-hand the devastating consequences of unsafe driving through his years as a Volunteer Qualified Firefighter and Police Officer. As an NZTA approved Instructor, Stuart brings a wealth of driving experience to his teaching. He holds driver Licence Classes 1, 2 & 6, and has over 35+ years driving experience. As a parent himself, Stuart understands that learning to drive is about much more than simply passing a test. His goal is to help every student develop the skills, confidence and awareness needed to become a safe and responsible driver for life. From gaining their learner licence through to their restricted licence and beyond, students are taught practical skills including hazard perception, defensive driving, vehicle control and an understanding of how a vehicle performs in different situations. At Apex Driving Academy, we are committed to giving students the confidence to make good decisions behind the wheel — while giving parents peace of mind that their young driver is learning from someone with extensive real-world experience.
